Hi @KNBDwueifbkajs,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for sharing the issue. If your HP 15.6" Laptop PC 15-e2000 (2J4V9AV) is not powering on and you suspect the NVMe SSD is not working, here’s how to troubleshoot it:

1. Check for Basic Power Response

  • Plug in the laptop using the original HP charger.
  • Look for any LED indicators near the power button or charging port.
  • Try a hard reset:
    • Disconnect power.
    • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power and try turning it on.

2. Check for POST or BIOS Access

  • Power on and immediately press Esc or F10 repeatedly.
  • If BIOS opens, the laptop is working, but it may not detect the NVMe SSD.

3. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

  • If you can access BIOS or the startup menu:
    • Press F2 to enter HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
    • Run the Storage Test to check NVMe health.

⚠️ If the laptop still doesn’t power on or show any signs of life, the issue may be with the motherboardpower circuit, or SSD failure, causing a boot block.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
