Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I wanted to know if my laptop (HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15 - eg0000 (172Z7AV)) can be charged using USB-C.

 

Plugging it in using a OnePlus 80W charger does not work.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are unable to charge your note ook using USB- C, I am glad to assist you.

The type C port in this notebook can not be used to charge the notebook.

It is used only for data transfer.

You will have to use the AC adaptor which came with the notebook to charge the notebook.
