Laptop Warranty 1y1y0y IN WRITING PLEASE

I need to find a copy of the HP warranty that explicity details what the 1y1y0y means.

The reason for my question is that I need to repair my laptop and the credit card I purchased the laptop with will extend the warranty and repair it for free but the terms require specific documents such as original sales receipt, vendor warranty, etc.

A link to the explicit warranty for the laptop would be most help. Saying things like " I think it means one year" will not help with teh documents that are required for my insurance claim.

The warranty card should come with your laptop, in the box. What is the meaning of 1y1y0y, it simply means one year parts, one year labor, and 0 years on site service.

I will be challanged to find the warranty card that came in the packaging 15 months after Xmas but maybe I'll get lucky.

The link to the warranty says a lot but only uses the word "year" twice in the whole document and doesn't make it very clear.

I'll give the phone number a call possibly.

I was suprised that the HP website doesn't find a warranty when I type in "1y1y0y" in the search field.

Hi,

Sorry, it is not a card, it is a 8-page small "booklet" (actually a sheet of paper folded 4 times) with title: HP Worldwide Limitted Warranty and Techinical Sypport.
