Hello, I have a design malfunction. When opening and closing my computer, the bezels peel off and in doing so dis-attach the bezels from the display. Also, when doing this, they put tension on the hinge making them open and very capable of breaking. I have never dropped it as there is no dents, and physical damage except this. I assume this is something to do with the design as it was happening gradually. This is mainly happening on the left side. Here are some images attached including the picture of the bezel coming off, and the hinge coming apart. It is less than 3 years old so there is no reason for it to be coming out already.

Not much I can do. It's a very expensive and extensive repair. Good luck.

Thank you, but I have a feeling that this is design issue, can I file complain to HP? Can you help me with the email or phone number with this?

Just received notice that HP will be contacting you. Again, good luck.

I am having the exact same problem.   This issue started on 6/27/20.  The laptop is less than 3 years old and isn't used that much.  As with you, the laptop has never been dropped.  If not for the separation of the display from the shell, the laptop looks new.  Based on the number of complaints on the Internet, this is certainly a design flaw.
