Laptop hinge creaking

Hello,

I bought my HP Spectre x360 almost 1 year ago, and over the past few months I noticed that the left screen hinge creaks when I open and close the laptop screen. I also have begun to see a small amount of rubber begin to protrude from the side of the left hinge, which is not present on the right side. Any advice on what needs to be done?

The screw that secures the hinge may be loose inside. It isn't that hard to take the bottom off to check for that but since you are still in warranty I would try to get HP to check it.
