HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-c0000 (2W0J6AV)

The keyboard to my HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17 started to act up yesterday when playing a game. I noticed when using my mouse, I wasn't receiving expected results. When pressing keys, either nothing happened or I got different characters. Upon restart, the numbers pad wouldn't work and I had to use the visual keyboard bit type in info backwards. It also seemed like the right shift button and space bar were locked but not physically. I ran the diagnostic test and the keyboard came back as needing repair. A wireless keyboard cam be connected amd works fine. There hasnt been a spill or any inflicted damage to the keyboard. The laptop is a little over a year old amd the warranty ran out October of last year. I've never encountered such an issue before.

Hello Irwin6: Thank you for this information. It's greatly appreciated. Edited: Shoot, it went back to the same behavior. I will have to take it in to be looked at. This is the weirdest thing. Intermittent issues surrounding the keyboard that makes it impossible to use. Thanks for you help!
