HP Laptop - 17-by3053cl
Microsoft Windows 11

My HP 17 laptop left hinge broke and the left corner case is broken off in a 2 inch section over the power cord insert (I have the power cord taped in place). The laptop was not dropped or damaged by me. I cannot open or close the laptop or move it without concern that more of the case will break off or the insides of the laptop shift (I had to call in help the two times the power cord became unplugged). I am not able to close and open the laptop properly. The warranty is expired on this laptop. Please help. Originally purchased from Costco for business/study use.

Rachel,

That link put me in Virtual Support help which is droning on about swollen batteries.  I appreciate your response but I'd really like HP to fix this as its obviously a design/mfg issue and happening to quite a few people with HP laptops, not just me.
