Dear Friends,

Have Pavillion 15 cs-3075cl notebook. Problem started while changing the battery.

1.Though laptop works on battery, power adapter(charger) is not able to charge the battery.

2.Though power adapter is working fine & onboard DC connector is also fine delivering 19.5V to motherboard, laptop won't start purely on AC power (i.e. without battery).

3. Power LED (white) Or charging LED (red) doesn't glow when connected to charger. However when I put battery, the white LED blinks. (without AC power)

4. HP UFEI diagnostics for adapter says - adapter not detected.

So suspect is, something wrong happened in motherboard's power circuit. Any experts who can help diagnose the problem?

Can someone share motherboard's schematic diagram & motherboard part number?

Thanks a ton ....

Hi@NirDo,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This sounds like hardware related issue with the motherboard and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

HP India has reached new lows.

1) Components are faulty - my laptop got 2 issues in 1.5 years - a) Touch Display panel b) Motherboard charging circuit. Replacing these two components essentially meant a whole new laptop.

2) Service centers are not functioning & info on HP website about service center is out of date. HP Care folks are not able to provide any confirmed/reliable information (E.g. haven't received quotation after 4 weeks)!

Looks like HP's strategy is to help their competitors.

SOLUTION: REPLACE HP PRODUCTS with other products in Market & NEVER buy again. Thankfully customers have options!
