I was trying to reset my PC through HP recovery DISKs, after the mother board got replaced from HP. But the recovery got failed, the stack strace is shown below.
[ 0:05:11:05] CTO Panic condition has been detected... The process couldn't find the Edition request flag file and this is not TEST image... The possibilities are followings: 1. Couldn't find the Edition's FB [Vos.]. 2. There might be the unexpected interruption during the process... Component: Windows 10 preinstall Diagnostics Tools - TDC Timing: FactoryUpdate Error: Incorrect brand name Next Step: Please Check Notebook Model or feature byte
After this I've do not have windows in my PC and I can't install the windows, I get the same error everytime I try to recover.
So I went to the BIOS and saw Feature Byte and Build ID are missing.
Is there any way to add those feature byte and Build ID? Or any other solution to this problem.
I've attached a photo of my BIOS screen.BIOS
P.S. : I've both feature bytes and Build with me.

Hi! @Ace17, Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues, with help from the community!
I understand you have replaced system board on your PC and now your PC is asking for feature byte and build ID.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?
As you mentioned you replaced the system board on your PC and you need to know how to enter product information on your PC.
HP uses a tool called DMI tool by which you can enter the product details on your PC.
However, this tool is limited only to HP partners and HP service center technicians.
If you have to get the product information entered on your PC.
You have to contact HP partners or HP phone support for service options.
Link to contact HP.
Hope this answers your query!
Have a pleasant day ahead! 🙂

Hi! @Ace17, Thanks for your quick response and time.
I appreciate your efforts for writing back to us.
As you mentioned you are not running windows on your PC and you need to know if it is possible to run the DMI tool.
Once you ship the laptop in for repair the service technicians will install windows and run DMI tool to enter the system information.
Note: If your laptop was shipped with windows they will reinstall windows and erase any other operating system installed on the PC.
If the solution provided worked for you, please mark accepted solution for this post.
