Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I've been everywhere on the internet trying to locate a particular cable which goes from the mother board through to the screen and webcam.  The part I've been to search for is DDG74ALC311, but even here on HP Support, there doesn't seem to be any help.
I previously bought a cable from eBay where the exact picture and description was advertised, only to be sent the wrong cable, which was missing and extra connector on the camera end of the lead.  Plus the lead they sent was also too short, believe me, I just tried fitting it.

My current cable seems to be worn, plus I will be changing the monitor as well as the strip on the bottom of the monitor behind the plastic bezel is faulty, causing the screen to go very bright, but as soon as I gently lift the bezel, all returns back to normal.

Just for info, my laptop is a Pavilion 15-cc101na, and runs...
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz

16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
ProdID 2PH51EA#ABU

Any help locating the correct cable would be appreciated,
Paul

Hello @TheDevonArtist

To help you I need to know the product number (p/n) of your notebook !

It looks something like this:

ub6424_0-1662806281457.png

You will find this information on the back/rear of your notebook in small alphanumeric letters.

The product number (p/n) is legally allowed information about the computer. This is not sensitive data.

It is allowed to publish it in public.

I did the parts surfer search, but sadly unable to locate the cable in question, my product ID doesn't even show up there: 2PH51EA#ABU.  Very odd though, you would have though one would be available somewhere out on the internet.
I have tried both the product code number for what I feel is the correct part, plus the number on the cable i.e DDG74ALC311.
I could possibly use a similar cable that is far too short for the camera, but long enough to reach the screen connections from the motherboard, and sadly do without the webcam.

Thank you very much for your help so far,
Paul

As per @The DevonArtist, I am having difficulties identifying/locating the screen cable. My Pavilion i/d is15-au182sa with a product number of 1DK80EA

The display is specified as - 39.6 cm (15.6") diagonal HD SVA BrightView WLED-backlit (1366 x 768). Thus I believe that the appropriate cable should be 926836-001(?). However, of the some 300 products listed as using this cable, my product number is not amongst them. I have tried searching PartSurfer using other cable product nos. (e.g. 926839-001) - all to no avail.

Assistance and/or guidance would be welcome.

Regards.

Hello @TheDevonArtist

Search on aftermarket ( ebay, aliexpress, amazon,  ... ) and catch genuine or compatible part.

Please pay attention to HP spare part number and specification.

Kind regards
