Hi! @SaifulRIPSEUan, Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand your laptop shuts down within 15 to 30 minutes when running on battery.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

Try updating BIOS on your PC and check if it helps.

Update the BIOS using this link.

Refer this article to know how to run a battery test and calibration on your laptop.

Battery cycle life is the total number of discharge-charge cycles (Figure 1) a battery yields before it can no longer hold a useful amount of charge. Estimating the cycle life of a rechargeable Li-Ion battery is difficult because cycle life is affected by the average operating temperature of the battery and its energy discharge rate.
Basically, higher temperatures and higher energy discharge rates decrease battery cycle life. The operating temperature of the battery depends on the air temperature as well as the heat generated by the notebook itself and by its immediate environment, such as a docking station. The energy discharge (drainage) rate depends on the type of applications running on the notebook and by its power management settings.
For example, running compute-intensive applications such as CAD, gaming, and DVD movies drains the battery faster and decreases its cycle life more than running word processing applications.

Also, refer this document to understand more about lithium-ion batteries.

@SaifulRIPSEUan, It's great to hear from you again.

I appreciate your efforts for trying out the steps.

As you mentioned the issue still persists after trying out the steps.

Did you run a battery test on your PC?

Have you tried checking with a different battery?

Try the steps recommended below.

If the computer starts and you would like to test the AC adapter, use the following steps:
Make sure the power cord and adapter are connected to the system and wall outlet.
Press and hold the power button until the computer turns off completely.
Turn on the computer.
Immediately press the F2 key repeatedly, about once every second, until the UEFI Hardware Diagnostics screen is displayed.
In the UEFI Main menu,    select Component Tests.
In the Component Tests menu, select Power
In the Power menu, select the Battery test.
Run the test and follow the onscreen instructions.
When the test is finished, the results display.

If the battery test fails then replace the battery on your laptop.

Hi! @SaifulRIPSEUan, It's great to hear from you again.

I appreciate your efforts for trying out the steps.

As you mentioned you don't have an option to test the battery from F2 on PC.

But the battery test from HP support assistant passed.

Try the steps recommended below.

Connect AC Adapter
In the Startup search for device manager.
Open Device Manager
Click the plus (+) sign next to Batteries category, right-click all of the "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery" listings, and select Uninstall In the "Confirm Device Uninstall" dialog box, click OK. (it’s ok if you only have 1 of these).
Click the plus (+) sign next to System Devices.
Right-click the “ACPI Fixed Features Button" and select Uninstall. In the "Confirm Device Uninstall" dialog box, click OK.
Shutdown your laptop
Disconnect AC adapter
Insert battery
Connect AC adapter
Check if the issue persists.

Also, change the power options in control panel on your laptop to balanced and check if it helps.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Take Care! 🙂

Waiting to hear from you.

@SaifulRIPSEUan, Thanks for your quick response and time.

I appreciate your efforts for trying out the steps.

As you mentioned when you plug the adapter into your laptop the battery charges 100% in 5 minutes.

It looks like it could be an issue with the battery connectors on your laptop which could be faulty due to which battery is unable to charge correctly.
