HP Pavilion x360 - 14t-dh100 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have been using this laptop for almost 2 years now. From the past couple of months, the laptops' been acting a bit weird. Whenever I connect an external device like earphones, hard disk and even the charging cable, the laptop sometimes abruptly shuts down. Even if I adjust the screen (move forward/backward), the laptop shuts down. If the laptop shuts down suddenly then it takes a lot of time to boot. Tried some solutions, but the problem persists. Please help......!

This can indicate a motherboard problem usually brought on by excess flexion of the motherboard during handling. One or more of the chips get flexed so the connection is not solid and if anything bumps or moves the laptop the connection opens briefly and causes a shutdown. Very hard to diagnose and even harder to fix.
