Product: HP-IUHQQ8EO-Laptop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My three and a half year old laptop continuously switches  itself off and only boots up when the mains lead is connected to the power supply. This is despite the battery indicator showing that the battery has a high percentage power left.

 

The laptop is : HP-IUHQQ8EO-Laptop

I think the battery type is : R41022039. Is this correct?

Neither of the numbers you give actually identifies the laptop or the battery. Can you please provide the model number of the laptop?

OK there is a battery diagnosis app built into HP Support Assistant. Do you have that app on your laptop?

Yes the battery is OK but weak. It only has 63% of its original capacity to hold a charge. Do you want to replace it?
