Can we have the model number? Would like to send you a Manual so you can perhaps remove the battery if its internal. That sometimes helps.

I have removed the battery and the ram and I've left it to sit for and hour but it still does the same thing when I put it back together

Odds are you have a dead motherboard. How old is the laptop? Under warranty?
