Unfortunately, I was really counting on this update to allow me to add a new boot entry (Win10/Kubuntu dual boot), but that didn’t happen.
I’ve solved the problem another way by editing GRUB, to avoid having to press the F9 key every time I boot up.

A person posted here a while ago asking how to make Ubuntu a default boot OS. He used Windows bcdedit command to boot the system from Ubuntu instead of Windows, but it wasn't successful.
Just curious to know how you edit GRUB to boot from Kbuntu automatically. If you referred to any article, can you show me the link? I never had a Linux but am just curious to know how grub bootloader is modified. Thanks.
