Hello,

My 17" HP 250 G5 Notebook has had a noticeably rigid left hinge for two to three months now. However last week, as I closed the notebook, the hing made a few loud popping noises, spitting broken plastic pieces. Now, each time I close the laptop, I hear more cracking, and more plastic bits fall out of the case. The plastic surrounding the screen is warped drastically, and the metal hinge is exposed.  The screen and the screen case on the left side are no longer attached to the metal hinge. The problem seems to worsen each day, and I'm trying not to close or open the laptop but sometimes that's not an option.

I have never dropped the laptop, and have consistently close it carefully since the hinge issues began.

Given so many people have experienced the same type of issues, I'm confident HP can provide a viable fix.

Thank you in advance.
