Hi,
I had another update from HP the other day. However, since then, although the mute button works fine, the light to indicate whether it's turned on or off isn't working. I've asked this before and was told to download the HD Audio installer, however since then the URL link to download it no longer functions. Is there a more recent link where I can download this and solve this issue? Thanks
NOTE: My device just says I´m on windows 10. Not sure if it's 32 or 64 bit.

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

@KrazyToad Thanks for that. I've downloaded the support assistant and checked for updates - I´m all up to date. Likewise, I've also checked for windows updates in the 'settings' option, and again, I am up to date. The light currently seems to be working, although it did flicker to life couple of days ago prior to downloading today, but I'm concerned that, like before it could turn off after another update. Will the RealTek Audio installer help as advised before do you think? I'll do whatever I can to make sure the thing continues to work. Do you advise downloading that also to be sure. If so do you have a link? Thanks.
