Limited speed on nvme ssd hp x360 m6-aq103dx

Hi, i have hp x360 m6-aq103dx with windows 11 running on it. I decide to upgrade the stockage with NVME SSD. For that i buy Crucial P3 1tb PCIE 3.0  . It's announced speed is 3500MB/3000MB. After installing and migrating OS, i'm only getting 1900MB/1800MB. I try another NVME SSD wich must give 2400MB/2000 on test, but it's same thing, it's only give 1900MB/1800MB. I want to know if the speed of pcie nvme port on my laptop is limited. Or if there is setting i may ajust to get max speed.

It's a 7 year old laptop. It was one of the first to be compatible with NVME M.2 SSD. Odds are the PCIe bus is limited to 2x so that means the rated speed for a 4x NVME M.2 will be cut in half on your laptop. Unfortunately the Manual does not spell this out but what you are seeing is not uncommon for some of the early models to use NVME architecture. The only other thing you can try particularly if yours is a Samsung SSD is to install the proprietary NVME drivers from the SSD manufacturer website. That usually only results in a modest bump in speed however. 1900 Mbps is still pretty respectable.
