Where do I find the internal lithium battery...NOT the big battery

Had a feeling it was buried that far into the laptop...one of the reasons I hate working on them in the first place.

I was almost there but the last few pieces were getting way beyond my comfort level to not break something, especially if I wasn't sure.

This path shouldn't have been this hard to find on the website in the first place. It's like HP didn't want you to find out where they hid this battery.

 I rebuild older computers to donate to families in need so your help is contributing to a good cause.

Yes, I don't like working on notebook PC's either.

 

I would not want to have to replace the RTC battery on most of them either.

 

At least you now have the service manual, in case you want to dig in.
