Thanks! I'll try that.

Now you have again an HP Pavilion and it doesn't make any noise?

I have the same issue with my Hp Pavilion x360 which is only 5 months old. The loud grinding sound popped up 2 months ago but I thought that is will just go after a while. The sound goes if I don't use the laptop for a few days but the sound comes back after a few minutes of usage. Please, can you help me figure out what the problem is? I have already to updated the bios of the computer and also factory reset it as it is advised in the hp forum and it has not helped what should I do?

@AmitGupta212121  Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting loud noise from the fan.

To resolve this issue, change the System Power Scheme to Balance in the BIOS.

1. Turn on or restart the computer.

2. Press F10 to enter the BIOS Setup.

3.Select System Configuration.

4. Select Boot Options > System Power Scheme.

5. Change the option to Balance.

6.Select F10 to Save and Exit the BIOS.

7.Select Exit.

You could try updating the BIOS from the HP Website: https://hp.care/2B3MVQS
