HP Recommended

I just bought an OmniBook 3 laptop, and the fan is SO loud.  I previously had an HP Pavilion laptop that wasn't nearly this loud.  This is going to drive me bonkers.  Is there any fix for this?  Please help before I throw this thing across the room.
