Lower temperatures with Undervolting

Hi everyone!

I recently bought a new OMEN laptop that mounts the Ryzen 7 5800H as a CPU and the NVIDIA 3070 as a GPU.

The PC works very well, but I noticed that especially in game it happens that temperatures reach 90°C and sometimes even a little above, but it remains constantly around 80°C.

I would like to understand how it is possible to undervolt this processor, from the BIOS I have not found any option and the HP Omen Gaming Hub is quite useless because it has only two options (balanced and performance) that do not change the situation much (I always keep it set to balanced).

Can someone help me?

P.S. I anticipate that the PC is new, the fans are spotless, the BIOS and drivers are all up to date, the desk is free and the pc are on a stand with the fans 🙂

Sorry, the ability to undervolt a processor is for desktop gaming motherboard BIOS.

That feature does not exist in your notebook's BIO.

There are no plans that we have heard of from the HP product specialists to allow processor or memory module voltage control in the notebook BIOS.

I accepted your answer as a solution, even though there is actually no solution.

However, I admit that I feel a little teased by HP if a PC of this level (and at this price) offers almost no level of customization in terms of performance.
