Do you have the exact same model? Can you provide the model or product number of the PC?
The above only support M2 SATA 3 SSDs.

Hi, Iomare, the model of my laptop is HP ENVY Notebook - 15-ae106la (ENERGY STAR) / Has 16gb RAM, intel i7 6500, 2tb hdd. But it is very similar to the one mentioned in the topic. I attached some images:

Hello.
I have the 15-bs115dx.
I was wondering if i could utilize the M2 slot on this machine as well??
If so, what is compatibale with this machine?
Also what is the slot/port circled in red.... see photo

No size limit and all the storage manufacturers make an M.2 SATA SSD. Samsung 860 Evo, WD Blue just to start. ..
Can't go wrong with a Samsung but they are the quality leader and cost will be a bit more than something like this:
But Adata is still a good solid product.
