Hi, my notebook is HP Pavilion Notebook 15-ab284tx, I would like to add-on a M.2 SSD, may I know which type of SSD I should add-on? Thanks

Yes that one is M.2 SATA only:

Yours is in the Star Wars model series even if not Star Wars branded. The Manual mentions an M.2 SSD. However, there is no M.2 slot on the motherboard.

This shows disassembly of your laptop and there is no M.2 slot. The only kind of SSD you can install is a 2.5 inch SATA in place of the hard drive.

Hi, thank you for your message. I had disassembled mine and I found that it do have M.2 slot but I tried to install a NVME 256GB SSD but it still undetectable. (maybe I should change to M.2 SATA SSD?)
