While reading maintenance and service guide for my laptop, 15-bs062st, there was mention of an M.2 SATA-3 on page 11. Where exactly would this M.2 SATA slot be, if my specific laptop has one and what is maximum size of M.2 SATA SSD is supportable?
My laptop's specifications is as follows:

Hi:
Your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports SATA M.2 SSD's, not NVMe.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

The M.2 slot is located in a couple of different places on that model series, so you will have to open it up and see where it is located on yours.
For instance, on this model, it is located as shown in the screenshot.

You can probably go as high as a 2 TB M.2 SATA SSD if you want.
