So I have the HP 15-da0511sa laptop with a intel core i3 processor and I am planning on adding a M.2 SSD to it to increase the speed of my laptop as currently I have a 5200rpm hard drive and it's really slow. So my question is, is there any way to check if I have a M.2 slot available in my laptop and what version it is?

Yes, it should but the Samsung 970 Evo Plus is indeed a NVMe M.2 SSD...

Hi:

 

According to chapter 1 of the service manual, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports a NVMe SSD.

Will it support the Samsung 970 Evo Plus 256gb? I don't think it's a NVMe SSD but I really want it because of the speed
