But I got a problem though, The SSD runs at Pcie 3.0 mode only at the first boot after the BIOS update, But after that it switches back to Pcie 2.0 mode again, Any Idea on this?

Unfortunately, I do not.

It's okay mate, It must be some issue with the firmware.

Hello again mate, After some observations with my SSD,I noticed that it runs as below,

On Battery Power : Runs in PCIe 2.0 Interface.

While Plugged in   : Runs in PCIe 3.0 Interface.

I tried changing the PCIe power plan settings in Windows, But the issue doesn't seems to be fixed.

Is there anyway that I can keep the SSD running at Gen3 Speeds while on battery Power? Thanks in advance.

Hi:

That is a very interesting and unfortunate scenario.

However, I would not know what you can do about getting the drive to run at the PCIe 3.0 speed on battery power.

🙁I've managed to keep the laptop in gen 3 speeds by not shutting down and keeping it in sleep mode

That's good.

That's a very odd situation.

It makes no sense.
