I found that my laptip contains a m.2 drive but it does not detected in the bios or windows .. the m.2 is nvme type

How can i fix this issue ???

Hi:

 

That is correct.  That's not the right type of SSD for your notebook.

 

So it looks like from the part number in your screenshot, you installed a 256 GB NVMe drive.

 

This is the SATA drive that I recommend for your notebook.  It has the best performance for the price.

 

It's 500 GB, but it costs just a little more than the 250 GB storage size. For double the storage it is worth the $11 extra cost.

 

Amazon.com: Western Digital 500GB WD Blue 3D NAND Internal PC SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s, M.2 2280, Up to...

 

This would be a decent budget model 250 GB M.2 SATA SSD.

Hi:

 

Your notebook's M.2 slot only supports SATA SSD's only, not NVMe.

 

That is why the NVMe drive you installed doesn't work.

 

There is no fix.  Return/exchange the NVMe drive for a SATA M.2 drive, and you will be all set.

So the ssd in this photo is not the right one ?? Right ??

Also can you recommend an ssd model to be easier for me to exchange it ?
