I do have a ryzen 3xxx series processor,My laptop came with 4 GB of ram, I added another 4 GB in the second slot, 2 GB is reserved for the video memory,I think this won't come under what you posted earlier.

This is the manual for HP 14 series laptops, The HP 14 cm1xxx series(Ryzen variant) uses the same 85B1 motherboard of 245 G7, So we can definitely conclude that the service manual guy wanted to play with our minds😼.

I can't imagine why a NVMe SSD wouldn't work in your notebook.

 

We have video proof it can be done.
