I need to know my laptop supports m.2 slot for ssd or not. If yes, supports for both ssd and nvme or not and height.

Is it an HP Pavilion - 15-au620tx ? Its specs

It has M.2 slot which supports M.2 SATA SSD. You can use

           https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/860evo/
     Or similar from reputable vendors.
