Hello all,
I recently bought the following M2 256GB (Gen 3) SSD: Here's the link
I tried installing it to my laptop (ProBook 470 G4 Notebook), however it isn't recognized and even stopped the laptop from booting during certain attempts.
I'm not sure if it's a compatibility issue or perhaps there's a problem with the slot itself, although I've never tried installing a different SSD, so I highly doubt it's the slot...

Your service manual (pages 1-2) indicates your model supports 2.5" hard drives and M.2 SATA SSDs only (not M.2 NVMe). Most likely that's the reason why the system doesn't recognize it.
