Hello experts,

Do I have an M2 slot for SSD in my laptop?

If my laptop doesn't have it then what options do I have to upgrade to an SSD?

Product: N1J24EA#A2N

Model: 15-ac065nx

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It does not have an M2 slot.

You can replace the 2.5" HDD with a 2.5" SATA 3 SSD such as the Samsung 860 Evo or similar.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0781Z7Y3S/ref=twister_B08KG14KCT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

On page 42 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04653884

You can then reinstall the OS. Creat a bootable USB drive before replacing the drive

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Hope it helps,

David
