Hi there

Good afternoon to all.

Pls tell me what is the maximum upgradable system RAM for my laptop -HP Pavilion dv6-6165tx Entertainment Notebook PC ???

I've installed 8GB ram.

I want to upgrade it for 16GB ram. Is it ok b'coz  I couldn't find this information on the HP site !!!

Hi:

 

Notebooks with the Intel 2nd gen core processors such as yours support 2 x 8 GB of DDR3-1333 MHz memory.

 

See chapter 1, page 5 of the service manual for the memory upgrade info.

Notebooks with the Intel 2nd gen core processors such as yours support 2 x 8 GB of DDR3-1333 MHz memory.
