Dear Friends,
I have a HP Pavilion G6 laptop running Linux mint .This laptop has been running fine for the last 2 years.
Recently, I observed that the laptop is not charging using the laptop power adapter.
I therefore removed the laptop battery MU06 and found that the laptop powers on fine without it. Therefore , I feel the problem is related to the laptop battery MU06.
I have removed and reinserted the MU06 battery but the problem remains the same.
Questions:
1. How do I resolve this?
2. Do I need any specific software for the battery to function fine?
3. Should I buy a MU06 third party vendor battery from Amazon.com?
Please advise.
