Hi, HP installed 16 Go DD5 4800 MHz but I read on some other forum that it can go up to 5200 MHz.

May you please confirm ?

Thanks.

Sincerly,

Leducs

Hi, @Leducs

When you check the Intel specs for your notebook's processor, it indicates that it will support DDR5-5200 speeds in motherboards with the LPDDR5-5200 memory.  That type of memory is integrated (soldered) into the motherboard.

Intel Core i712700H Processor 24M Cache up to 4.70 GHz Product Specifications

Otherwise, the processor runs the memory at a max speed of 4800 MHz with removable DDR5 memory.

You may be able to install higher speed RAM but it will run at exiting speed

Hi Banhien, thanks for considering my question.

But they said it can run at 5200 MHz, the 4800 MHz is not the limit.

Anyway, do you know what are the CAS Latency clocks on the HP preinstalled 4800 MHz Samsung module ?
