I want to try and squeeze the most out of my old laptop by at least upgrading RAM
So what is the best possible RAM for this CPU

Crucial memory guarantees that their compatible 8 GB total installed memory will work in your notebook. See the link in tht line below

It is considered best practice to install memory as a pair of identical 4 Gb modules or a single memory module
