Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hello. I would like to know what the max RAM is for a HP Pavilion 15-n028us. I looked at the specs and it shows 6 GB, but is unclear if that is the max or the amount that comes with each laptop.

According to the service manual below, the max is 12 GB.  See chapter 1, page 3.
