Hi, Just bought a HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 2-in-1 Laptop. IT comes with 1 simm w 4 gb. Can I swap out to 8 GB single sim??? Or in other words - what's the max memory for this PC? All the specs I can find say it is "configured" with 4MB, NOT the max for the mother board.
Thanks All

It has
One customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slot
Support for DDR3L-1333-MHz (DDR3L-1600-MHz downgrade to DDR3L-1333-MHz) – for use with Pentium processors
Support for DDR3L-1066-MHz (DDR3L-1600-MHz downgrade to DDR3L-1066-MHz) – for use with Celeron processors
Support for 8192-MB of system RAM in the following configurations:
● 8192 MB × 1
● 4096 MB × 1
You can replace 4GB with 8-GB (PC3L, 12800, 1600-MHz) part # 693374-005
You can use part # to order from HP or from online stores.
Regards.

Hi Canufixit2,
Probably gonna need clarification from an HP Expert but I don't think you can upgrade your RAM at all.
I can't seem to find the Maintenance and Service Guide for your laptop.
I did check Crucial's RAM/SSD upgrade tool and they said there aren't any available upgrades.
Finally, your computer uses LPDDR3 RAM which I believe is a permanently soldered RAM attached to the motherboard.
*Edit* It doesn't use LPDDR3 RAM
Hope this helps,

Thanks !
I'm not planning on upgrading unless I need to. Some reviews of the laptop say it may be slow - so I might want to add mem to try to help. I'm only planning on using the laptop for surfing, email, news, etc with an occasional larger program ( f/ taxes, etc.)
I did think this was the case - one slot and can upgrade to 8gb
