I have 17-cb1002nu with (mobo hp 8748). I want to upgrade RAM from 16GB, but I can not find the max memory supported. In the HP Support Assistant and in the HP web site I find stock installed memory of 16GB.

Any idea what is MAX supported RAM (32GB or 64GB)?

Likely 32 gigs of DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM (2 modules) but you can be sure by running the following command from the command line:

Max memory on my computerMax memory on my computer

This shows that my HP Zbook G3 has 4 slots and maximum 32 gigs

Hi:

According to chapter 1 of the service manual, your notebook supports 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-2933 memory.

It would probably be easier to find DDR4-3200 MHz memory.

Paul_Tikkanen, I find that, but this manual is a bit old - it show compatible CPUs from 9th series of Intel when my laptop is with 10tyth gen CPU.

Thanks, Huffer - it supports 64GB.

Yes, TzortzisG, I found this before posting, but I was not sure if this is applicable to my laptop. Thanks for the link though.
