Product: HP Pavilion dv6-6024tx Entertainment Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
I want to upgrade the memory in my 13 YO HP laptop, but I am finding conflicting information.
I currently have 2 x 4Gb = 8 GB ,and I wish to install 2 x 8 Gb =16 Gb.
I am using windows 10 home 64 bit 22H2.
It has an Intel Core i7 2630QM @ 2.00GHz.
I know it is an old laptop but I think extra RAM will make it faster as it currently hangs a bit.
Is 8 or 16 Gb the maximum RAM ?
or, Should I just give up on this Laptop and buy a replacement ?
