Unfortunately, that I do not know.

The Crucial memory report for your notebook also indicates the max memory is 2 x 16 GB.

Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | hp - compaq | hp 15s-eq series | HP 15s-eq2030nl | Crucial.com

Crucial usually provides the max memory, even when the PC manufacturer indicates a lesser amount of memory can be installed.

So, installing 2 x 32 GB of memory in that model would be an expensive gamble.

If you do, only buy one 32 GB chip and add it to the existing one.

If the notebook boots up, works fine and reports the correct amount of memory, then you would probably be safe to add the second 32 GB memory chip.

Hi:

Hp only has the maintenance and service guide for the older models in the series on your notebook's support page.

The manual that has the 8.78 MB file size.

HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 Manuals | HP® Customer Support

According to chapter 1 of the outdated manual, the max memory is 2 x 8 GB.

What I suggest you do is to run this command to see how much memory your notebook can actually support...

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator. This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity and hit enter. There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

You can probably install a max of 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.

The command result is 33554432 = 32 GB.
On US online shops I have seen models configured with 64 GB (2 x 32 GB).

Is this possible with AMD Ryzen5 5500U or is possible with Intel CPU version?

I have done some tests with SODIMM PC4-25600 3200 MHz.
The notebook correctly works also with 32+32 GB (dual channel, dual rank).
The benchmarks on RAM show that 32+32 GB (dual channel, dual rank) speed is lower than with 16+16 GB (dual channel, dual rank).

Why?

32+32 GB dual channel, dual rank 25364 MB/s
16+16 GB dual channel, dual rank 27260 MB/s
16+16 GB dual channel, single rank 26900 MB/s
8+8 GB dual channel, single rank 27920 MB/s
8 GB single channel, single rank (original configuration) 16096 MB/s
