Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Currently I have 4GB RAM with windows 7 Ultimate 64bit OS. I want to upgrade RAM size. I need to know what is maximum size my laptop support and How many memory slots available. Each slot support how maximum RAM SIZE.

You're very welcome.

 

According to the HP and Crucial websites, a 16 GB memory module will not work.

 

If by some chance it did, the memory will run in a lower performing mode than if you installed 2 x 8 GB of memory.

Its mean Maximum RAM size is 16GB.

 

Please answer my one more question

May i keep only one 16GB RAM. instead of two 8GB RAM.
