Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d0000 (2V8U8AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello friends!

I recently bought a laptop. HP Victus 16-d0068nq, product id 5d535ea.

Does anyone know what is the maximum amount of RAM memory that I can upgrade to?

I can't find this information anywhere, but on the Crucial website, they specify that it would be 64gb. I find it hard to believe this.

thank you in advance to those who can help me.

Hi:

Chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual indicates the max memory is 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-2933 memory.

Most folks install DDR4-3200 memory in that situation

I leave this here for other interested people. In cmd.exe, type this: wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity , MemoryDevices

You will find the maximum supported RAM

Hi:

Yes, you can do that, but I prefer to use the below command because it also checks the notebook's SMBIOS.

This value comes from the Extended Maximum Capacity member of the Physical Memory Array structure in the SMBIOS information.

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
