Pavilion dv7-4090ef
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

As mentionned in the title, I would like to know the maximum SDRAM allowance for the HP Pavilion dv7-4090ef notebook.

The "HP Pavilion dv7 Entertainment PC Maintenance and Service Guide" says this model "Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM in the following configurations", however this was in 2010 and since then 8 Gb or more modules have become standard. Would a 2x8Gb configuration be possible? What modules should I search for?

Thank you for your answers.
