You have a single 4 gig module and it will take up to 2 x 8 gig modules for a total of 16 gigs. This is the part number:

Memory modules (two, DDR3-1600 MHz, PC3-12800): ● 8 GB 693374-005

Here is the manual:

Manual

"How to" on memory is on p. 69. Adding more memory will jeopardize the warranty and will require removal of the motherboard, which is not easy.

This is the memory:

https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Technology-1600MHz-PC3-12800-KVR16LS11/dp/B00CQ35HBQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=U...

This is low voltage DDR3L-1600 1.35 volt and it should be low density 8 black blocks per side.

Ok. So i can put on my laptop 16 gb RAM and its will not kill my mother? 😄

So now i want to put in my laptop this Kingston SODIMM DDR3-1600 8192MB PC3-12800 (KVR16S11/8) . Is this good for my laptop?)

HP Recommended

No bad for the laptop. That is 1.5 volt memory and you need 1.35 volt like the module in the big picture above, also made by Kingston.

Nobody is going to kill anybody here. Worst that happens is you put the new memory in and it does not POST. However, given how hard it is to install it, you want to get it right the first time.

so i can put 1.5 volt and its will not make problems for laptop? or or do I have to put it on 1.35 volt?

it is very important for me because my laptop is my tool of earnings 😞

so I want to do it right

You need 1.35 volt. Not 1.5 volt. Not sure how I can make it clearer.
