Hi folks,

Please can you let me know the maximum amount of memory I can install in this laptop (ignoring the optane memory)? I'm also interested to find out what the maximum speed of the memory is.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You're very welcome.

According to Intel, the maximum clock speed the processor can run the memory at is 3200 MHz, and I see that Crucial offers that speed memory as an option.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

HP indicates that 1 x 16 GB is the max.

However, the Crucial memory site indicates that 1 x 32 GB is the max.
