You're very welcome.
The specs for your model indicate that it comes with an Intel Pentium N3700 processor.
It is my understanding that notebooks with the Intel Pentium and Celeron processors only have one memory slot and the max in the slot is 8 GB.
See chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual for the memory upgrade info.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04653884
One non-customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slot (Intel Pentium and Celeron processors)
DDR3L-1600 single channel support
DDR3-1333 Dual Channel Support (DDR3L-1600 downgraded to DDR3L-1333) (for Intel BayTrail-M)
Intel states the max memory the processor your notebook has can address is 8 GB.
So, if you have already opened up your notebook and see two memory slots, then I suppose you would install another 4 GB chip in that slot.
I just hope the second slot is active.
Even the Crucial memory report for your notebook indicates that there is only one memory slot and the max it can take is 8 GB.
