What is the maximum RAM and maximum disk capacity for this OmniBook 3 14 Laptop 14-hu0050la (D4EU0LA) computer?

Community reports for recent OmniBook systems consistently describe the LPDDR5x RAM as "onboard/soldered" and non-upgradable.  It is configurable from the factory in 8 GB, 16 GB, 24 GB, or 32 GB LPDDR5-5200 MT/s options. Meaning, whichever RAM amount is installed at purchase is effectively permanent.

As far as the maximum drive capacity is concerned, HP officially documents SSD options up to 1 TB. In practice, however, larger M.2 NVMe SSD drives such as 2 TB probably function just as well if they are single-sided M.2 2280 PCIe drives, but HP only officially validates up to 1 TB. Therefore, 1 TB is the safe "official maximum".

I have a question. I read the service manual and I think that motherboards with U-series processors can have their memory upgraded. I'm not sure, but if you open up the laptop, you can check.

Yes, have to be careful—this also happens with some business models. Some models that are identical, with the only difference being the phrase “next-generation AI,” have onboard memory, while others do not.

Good catch -at the very least the OP should open up the laptop and see if the RAM is upgradeable or not.
