Why does HP not have any specifications, to be honest it is quite unprofessional.

How sure are you that it can upgrade to 16GB? I really don't want to spend 100$+ on 2x8 RAM for the laptop not being able to use them.

If you are aware of this, then why ask questions we can't answer?

I've already told you that your notebook will support 32 GB of memory, therefore 16 GB of memory will work as well.

How do I know if you can or cannot answer? If I want to ask questions that I am interested in knowing the answer to why not ask?

You gave me the EQ3XXX but what about the NL part? How does the naming system work?

The 'nl' means the notebook is marketed in Italy.

The entire 15s-eq3xxx model series no matter what exact model it is, supports 2 x 16 GB of memory.

What more do you need to know?

The "nl" part is what i needed to know, instead of the relatively vague eq3xxx. I have never been interested in prebuilt systems as I have always used a custom built desktop, the naming system is all I needed to know since I can now sort of make sense of the different products.
