I am looking for information/documentation about some HP laptops, I've googled product name/product code documentation but no results. I've tried the HP website's info search and no results, I've also looked around the support page and assistant but no results.

I'm looking for the maximum ram capacity for the "HP 15S-EQ3006NL", the website says that the product code is "659P6EA" but via the HP search it results in another model.

The 'nl' means the notebook is marketed in Italy.

The entire 15s-eq3xxx model series no matter what exact model it is, supports 2 x 16 GB of memory.

What more do you need to know?

I have nothing else to write.

Good night.

This is the result I came up with by myself already, however I was unsure if this is the actual product since the processor category does not list the processor present in the product.

The product name is "HP 15S-EQ3006NL"

The processor is "Ryzen 5 5625U"

Installed RAM is 8GB (I believe it is 2x4 DDR4 3200mhz)

It has a 512GB NVMe SSD

The internal graphics is "Vega 7 Graphics".

As you can see there is quite some discrepancies from the document, as well as the screenshot you provided. This is the reason I decided to create a post here, as it is my last hope of finding this info.

Try to contact official HP store in your country to get information.

I can't tell you any more information.

Good luck

I am afraid that there isn't any HP stores in my country, the official support page is worthless as it asks for a serial code which I do not have access to. I haven't been able to find any way of contacting any HP employee hence the post in the community forums. As I have previously stated, this is the last chance of finding any information on this product (that I know of).

I've looked around the official HP online store and I have found a product that is apparently the same, instead of EQ3006NL it's the EQ3011NL which has a 16GB DDR4 option that changes the name to EQ3012NL.

The product code of this one is different (673J8EA) but leads to the same page from the other code and the one you sent.

What am I to make of this? Was the product renamed, someone accidentally changed the name or is it a different product?

Going logically, the 11NL has 8GB and the 12NL has 16GB therefore there must be a hypothetical 07NL that has 16GB?

If so, is the max supported for both the 11NL and 06NL 16GB?

If the naming varies in the increments of 1 depending on the config, is it the same product (11NL and 12NL) but with different RAM?

How does the 15s-EQxxxxNL naming work?

Hi, @fruitsamurai

According to the Crucial memory report for the entire 15s-eq3xxx model series, the max memory is 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200.

HP - Compaq HP 15s-eq3XXX (Ryzen) | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com

According to the official HP Partsurfer website, the 659P6EA is a 15s-eq3006nl.

I cannot find an official HP specifications link for the above model.

@fruitsamurai

Code 659P6EA is for HP Laptop 15s-eq3006nl as shown

           https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=659P6EA

which is the right one. HP does not supply its Official specs nor manual, only

         https://www.zanettishop.com/notebook-e-macbook/17409-hp-laptop-15s-eq3006nl-15seq3006nl

You should be able to upgrade to 2 x 8GB = 16GB

Regards.
